After serving the Moyer community as a fifth grade teacher for 6 years and Assistant Principal for the past 7 years, I am honored and excited to be named the next principal of this incredible school.
Ruth Moyer Elementary School was built in 1930, and was originally named Central School because it was centrally located in town. In 1931, the school was renamed to honor Ruth Moyer, a beloved teacher and the first principal of the school. Moyer Elementary was recently remodeled in 2018.
